WASHINGTON PARK MASTER PLAN

Washington Park is an urban park originally designed by Fredrick Law Olmsted. The revitalization plan enhances the existing lagoon and natural area, creates new multi-use fields for soccer and baseball, adds a swimming facility and additional children’s playground areas, renovates the tennis courts and basketball courts, proposed renovation of the 1930’s band shell, added new covered picnic areas, and proposed additional and renovated community facilities.
