UWM CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER

The much-needed expansion of the UWM Children’s Center uses nature as a means of teaching and growth. Central to the space is a new grand staircase with reed-like railings. Botanical motifs appear in unique flooring through the space as well. Small reading nooks ensure each child has a space to relax and learn. Outside in the play area, children are encouraged to engage with nature through soft play surfaces, sand, dirt, water and native plantings.
