HARBOR VIEW PLAZA
In 2015, Quorum lead the design winning competition team for Slosh Park, now Harborview Plaza, in Milwaukee’s Inner Harbor. The first public open space to be built in the large industrial landscape at the confluence of the Milwaukee, Menomonee, and Kinnickinnic Rivers, this small park was designed to as a place to witness the active harbor while experiencing the ebb and flow of the water. The less than 1 acre site has a converted shipping container lookout/play tower, an accessible kayak launch, a ‘tidal’ water feature with native plantings and water play, and a custom railing for looking out over the water and boat watching.
