SHERMAN PARK COMMONS

The historic Jackie Robinson Middle School was developed into senior housing with incorporation of art as wayfinding. The design used a different color scheme for each floor and a different thematic direction for the artwork. The building includes a two-story high wall in the redesigned gym which was used to recognize and memorialize Jackie Robinson. We worked with both the Owner and the Artist to obtain the desired goals by providing design input and focus.
