ROGERS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH: BROWN DEER
The architectural challenge was to fully transform the former 56 bed acute care hospital building into a behavioral health in-patient hospital providing patients with the Rogers Behavioral Health standards in patient comfort, care, and safety. Fresh ideas and principles developed a new vision for existing buildings in several ways, all formed around the concept of biophilic design. The design integrates architecture and interior design with nature using natural elements and materials implying a sense of being one with nature.
