MILWAUKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY FACADE RENOVATION
Constructed in 1895, the Central Library building is an historic Neo-Renaissance style building designed by Ferry & Clas. It has been designated a landmark by the Milwaukee Historic Preservation Commission and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The east and west facades were restored to ensure the design respected the historic character of the building. The annex façade, a modern styled addition, was also restored along with the replacement of the roof deck of the building.
