The Stephenson Building, as it was known originally, had most of it's charm remodeled out of it by decades of projects to modernize. Renovating the first floor to uncover the Art Deco stairwell and removing the first floor brick facade and replacing it with stone and precast elements in keeping with the building's history and style, and opening up the retail space with storefront windows has given new life to this downtown landmark.
